You can increase the damage done and score earned by your birds by leveling them. This can be done by collecting feathers. Birds are available in the form of cards and you can decide which one to use first. Moreover, there is a destruct-o-meter available in each level which can earn you an extra card if you are able to fill it by destroying blocks.

Apart from birds, you have various spells available to you as well in Angry Birds 2. These spells can help you in completing some of the difficult levels which can't be cleared using the birds alone. With the help of these spells, you can inflict a great deal of damage on the pigs. However, do keep in mind that these spells become unavailable to you during boss pig levels. Aside from the campaign mode, there are other game modes available in this version of angry birds which involve competing against players from around the world and participating in tournaments.
